I believe we all carry the wisdom to navigate life’s challenges. We already hold the keys to thrive but have likely been made to forget. Systemic and cultural conditioning rooted in fear and shame may have led you to disconnect from your truth. It can be hard to imagine another way; I’m here to help you remember.

Our wounds aren’t barriers – they’re messengers. Even though you may have been taught to silence or suppress them, they hold deep insight. Shame, in particular, is often the deepest wound. It can whisper that you’re not enough and never will be, keeping you locked in patterns of avoidance. Over the course of my career I have found the five patterns that occur the most are procrastination (avoidance of overwhelm), perfectionism (avoidance of embarrassment), people pleasing (avoidance of disappointment), control (avoidance of worry/anxiety), and doubt (avoidance of uncertainty/fear). But when you make space for pain as an inevitable and sacred part of life, you create space for clarity, healing, and transformation.

My practice is rooted in presence, compassion, acceptance; strengthening trust in your inner knowing. I help you build safety within yourself so you can return to your most empowered and authentic expression. I believe this is the heart of reclaiming your personal power.

I utilize evidence-based modalities such as Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). As a Reiki Master and Spiritual Doula, I also weave in energetic healing, somatic practices, and spiritual guidance where it’s aligned to do so. My deepest passion (and most cherished modality) is inner child healing, where I have witnessed some of the most profound shifts. My areas of focus are shame resilience, peri/menopause, identity transitions, eldest daughter, mother-adult daughter relationships, and spiritual development.

Clients I work with often take with them a deeper sense of self-trust and inner safety; greater clarity and confidence in life decisions; stronger boundaries and more authentic relationships; emotional resilience and the ability to hold discomfort without abandoning themselves; reconnection to their intuition, body, and spiritual path; integration of inner child and shadow parts, leading to wholeness and empowerment.

If this speaks to you, I’d be honored to join you on your journey. You don’t have to do this alone.

BACKGROUND

Born and raised in New Hampshire, I always sensed my purpose was to help people, though as a teenager I wasn’t quite sure what that was meant to look like. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Wheaton College in Massachusetts in 2002 before moving across the country to California where I was a special education teacher for five years. Realizing my true calling was in mental health therapy, I moved to Oregon to complete the Master’s program of Counseling Psychology at Pacific University in 2009.  I’m a licensed therapist in both Oregon and Washington, as well as a certified Reiki Master.

For 16 years, I honed my therapeutic skills in community mental health and managed care settings. On my own personal growth and spiritual journey, I anchored into my deep knowing and decided to live in full alignment with my values by joining North Star Therapy Collective in 2025.
