At North Star Therapy Collective our team is committed to our individual growth, learning and self-care. We work to take genuine care of ourselves in deep and meaningful ways so we can show up as the best version of ourselves in our communities, our families, and for YOU - our clients.
Each one of us struggles with our own perfectionism. At times, we burn ourselves out, overcommit, or overwork. It's in these moments we turn to self-compassion and to the support of one another so that we can pause, rest, and reset.

All people inherently move toward growth.
Incredible change and acceptance is possible through self-understanding and compassionate connection.
Emotions are important; they give us information about ourselves, our relationships, and our values.
Our minds, bodies, and spirits are connected and that through attending to all parts of ourselves we are nurtured.

OUR COMMITMENT TO EQUITY & INCLUSION
At North Star Therapy Collective, we want our fellow community members who identify as Black, Brown, Native American, Indigenous American, Asian American, Latinx, LGBTQ, people with disabilities and members of the many historically marginalized communities to know: We see you. We value you. Your experience matters. We are in solidarity with you.
As mental health care providers, we take seriously our responsibility to provide services that honor your whole self, including your racial, social, cultural, and physical experiences.
To that responsibility, we are committed to educating ourselves about and engaging in a range of racially, culturally, and socially diverse experiences. Our commitment is aimed at cultivating the safe and accepting space you deserve.
As humans, we inevitably will falter. We welcome your feedback and invite you to call us out/in as we continue on our own paths of self-knowledge and knowledge of other’s experiences beyond our own to dismantle internalized white supremacy.
We invite our community members to join in education about Anti-Racism actions.
