Our Team.

At North Star Therapy Collective, we understand   that our ability to care for our clients starts with how we care for ourselves. Each therapist here is committed to ongoing growth, learning, and self-compassion, so we can show up fully for our clients, our families, and our community.

We’re trained therapists, but we’re humans first. Like many of our clients, we sometimes wrestle with perfectionism, burnout, and overwhelm. . In those moments we do our best to lean on one another for support; to, pauseand to take time to reset, so we can continue our  work with presence and heart.

WE BELIEVE

At North Star Therapy Collective, we believe people naturally move toward growth. With compassion and understanding, real change is possible.

Emotions are not problems to solve, but signals that help us understand our needs, relationships, and values.

Mind, body, and spirit are deeply connected; caring for all parts of ourselves creates lasting healing.

OUR COMMITMENT TO EQUITY & INCLUSION

We want our community members who identify as Black, Brown, Native American, Indigenous American, Asian American, Latinx, LGBTQIA+, people with disabilities, and others from historically marginalized groups to know: we see you, we value you, and your experiences matter. We are in solidarity with you.

As mental health care providers, we hold the responsibility to honor each person’s whole self, including racial, cultural, social, and physical identities. We commit to ongoing education and engagement with diverse perspectives so our practice remains an inclusive space.

We will make mistakes, and when we do, we invite feedback and accountability. Our purpose is to continue dismantling internalized systems of oppression while learning from those around us.

We also encourage our community to join us in anti-racism education and action.
